PRODUCT OF NAM [Melbourne] [1995-1997] The NAM series of zines 'Product of Nam', 'Vietnam: Smiling Whores', 'Vietnam: Winter' and 'The Yellow and the Non Yellow' were produced anonymously in Melbourne between 1995 and 1997 with a Brunswick Lower address listed as the only contact point. The first issues were a mix of what appeared to be very short fictional war stories of American soldiers fighting in the Vietnam War with reviews of obscure Vietnam War movies such as 'Vietnam Texas', 'Jud', 'Saigon Commandos' and 'Braddock: Missing In Action 3'.
The zine changed drastically each issue, with the third in the series taking the form of ten scripts of a TV sit-com about Vietnam vets, and the fourth and final issue being entirely devoted to hand developed black and white photographs of water buffalo.

PSYCHOBABBLE [Sydney] A zine by Vanessa Berry in her idiosyncratic style (described by Luke in CE4 as 'a designer's nightmare') featuring collage style cut and paste with running commentary.
Whimsical personal observations are hand-written as an ongoing monologue nestled between amusing newspaper and magazine excerpts which are cut and pasted around the page, leaving unstable spaces for commentary, as well as creating new juxtapositions, with no distinctions between excerpts from television reviews, criminal reporting and unusual by-lines.
The zine was produced from 1996 to 1998 and spanned twenty issues, abandoned to allow Berry to concentrate on 'Laughter And The Sound of Teacups' and ' I Am A Camera'.
PULP [Melbourne, Brisbane] 1977-1982
